Orchid of the Week: Bllra Peggy Ruth Carpenter ‘Morning Glory’

Beallara orchids are a cross of several different types of orchids – Brassia, Cochlioda, Miltonia and Odontoglossum. The Bllra Peggy Ruth Carpenter ‘Morning Glory’ blooms are star-shaped, with speckles of lavender, and are about 3″ in size. The blossoms live up to 1 month. The average height of this orchid is about 15-20″.

We added the Bllra Peggy Ruth Carpenter ‘Morning Glory’ to our collection last fall when it was in spike. It has such a nice flower against the leaves. The foliage is nice enough to have in the house as a regular house plant.
