Orchid of the Week: Milt. Arnold Linsman ‘Hot & Spicy’

We added the Miltoniopsis Arnold Linsman ‘Hot & Spicy’ to our family in late Spring 2018. This orchid has beautiful “pansy-like” flowers that are yellow and burgundy with a white outline on the sepals. Though the bloom life expectancy of this orchid is 2 to 4 weeks, we we were able to keep ours for 6.

Miltonia hot and spicy. Longest I’ve ever had this in bloom. Pushing 6 weeks. Some of the flowers are starting to dry up. I put this orchid in display in a low light area to hold onto the blooms as long as I can.
